Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Well, it didn't rain in the end, but it stayed overcast, and now there's and ugly bile tint as the sun gets lower.

Stay tuned for more weather!

I can confirm that it's really dark now. But no rain, only a drizzle an hour ago.

Well, are you sure it's not raining? I mean....if it's really dark, how do you know it's not raining? Have you been outside?

I really enjoy a nice bike. Easier on my old knees than running. Z, we will need pictures of the new, vintage ride.   :pok:

Exeter, you have a bicycle? Is Hungary a nice place to ride? Is bicycling popular there? (No need to answer all those questions in one single post, take your time..... :pok:)

I'll deal with them in one go anyway. :) Yes, I do have a bike, a Schwinn whatever, MTB-type frame but I use it on city roads, so it's fitted with appropriate seat and slick tyres.

Cycling in Hungary? Very much depends on where you are. My hometown is very bike friendly for example, and there's also a dedicated bicycle road running through it (and going throught the countryside for a further 50 kms or so, linking several small towns). On the other hand, the city where I live now is much less friendly in this aspect, I don't feel that safe on the streets, and there are no seperate, dedicated bicycle roads built, or not easily accessible from many parts of the city. Okay, there's one going through the mountains right behind us, but I'm not in a shape to tackle that. Nowadays I ride my bike very little, which is a shame, because I loved cycling, and did 50-150 kms per week when the conditions were good.

Oh, and I checked the rain for you last night, I leaned out the window to make sure, but I had some internet troubles right when I wanted to report back, so I decided to sleep. But it was not raining. ;) So that's settled too.
