I had to repeen the front bolster because the blade pivot pin had moved.I then had to grind that area to blend the pivot pin and the front bolster.I had removed so much metal that the front "pinch" had almost disappeared,so I had to grind that back into the front bolster..

I then had to completely refinish,sand,polish and buff out that area.

I had to remove rust from the underside of the back-springs and refinish the bay area of this knife. I moved on to refinished all of the scales,rear bolster and outside of the back-springs.

Here it as after all of that work.

I have to find a better place to take pictures.The lines in the blade is a reflection of the tongue and groove boards on the ceiling of our rear porch.

Oh well, I was a little tired after spending so much time rehabilitating this knife.I didn't realize,at first,how much work needed to be done,in order to bring this Case back to new condition.

Here is an interesting knife for this week's WHW.

It's a Case 6265 Folding Hunter.

Some knife guys are happy with the status quo and then there are some guys who have to make changes,just for the hell of it.LOL

The first picture is this knife in stock form. The next pictures are the new thinned version.I've not finished yet but I won't reveal my next mods until after they're done.

This is a Case 54 Trapper with their Rattle Snake pattern.

This is an original Buck 2 dot 110 hunter from the era of 1974-1982.This is the way I found and bought it.It's in pristine condition with the old square brass frame,genuine Ebony handles and a full blade.This has a 440C steel blade as well.

They're getting very hard to find in this condition and at a fair price.It seems as though many people who find these,believe they've found a nugget of gold and ask ridiculous prices for them.

This is an original Buck 2 dot 110 hunter from the era of 1974-1982.This is the way I found and bought it.It's in pristine condition with the old square brass frame,genuine Ebony handles and a full blade.This has a 440C steel blade as well.

They're getting very hard to find in this condition and at a fair price.It seems as though many people who find these,believe they've found a nugget of gold and ask ridiculous prices for them.
