2016 Buck 110 and some no-name giveaway knife Raybestos put their name on. I put it on my keys as to have a backup knife, but something I would care about if it either got lost, or I had to give it up because I forgot the place I was going to had a "No Knives" policy and metal detectors.

Figured I would see a bunch of new posts for Wood Handled Wednesday when I opened this post......where is everyone?
Anyway to start things off I'll post a couple of Camillus knives. The first is a #1 pattern pruning knife. The second is a very old(circa 1915)easy open jack with ebony handles. The knife looked a little scruffy when I found it at an antique shop in Ashtabula Ohio many years ago and that is when I realized it had never been sharpened after it left the factory. There are a couple of nicks in the blades and I was tempted to work them out;but then I thought:that will destroy the history of the knife. I wondered how it had survived this long without seeing a stone.Wee'll never know but it makes for interesting speculation.

Besides my Buck 110s and 112s, I have few wooden scaled knives.

Found this lock back in a trade with it other Traditional folders, checked the sharpness and carried today to try it out.  It did cut and stayed sharp.

Something a little bit different for WHW: A combination tool for opening & closing wooden cigar boxes. The blade slides under the top of the box and putting a little pressure on it raises it slightly;exposing the heads of the nails holding it down. The notch in the blade fits under the head of the nail allowing it to be pried up and removed. The raised portion of the blade is a hammer head allowing the nails to be re-installed and hammered down. There is advertising stamped on it for the C.S.Osborne Co.which I assume is a tobacco distributor.

A bit of a mystery dagger today.Double edged blade with etching,"Cum Deo et Manu" and a coat of arms among other things the handle is carved wood with various inlays and a pommel of carved bone(or ivory)of a tiger on both sides. No idea where it came from or what it represents.
