Nothing special for WHW today;just an old Ulster barlow whose original handles had seen better days. Re-handled with some scrap wood from an old cigar box.No idea what the wood is but it is very soft and easy to work(not balsa).

EvoWood S557.  :tu:
Even though this is a 5-layer SAK, it’s quite compact (84mm length) and carries well in the pocket on a lanyard.
Those are nice Max,congrats.

Happy Wood Handled Wednesday everyone

Very interesting appearance of that mystery wood, congrats Ray.

This is a Buck 110 I found on their website. It was a limited edition with very few made.

Buck termed it Burl wood without mention the species.

That Buck is drop dead gorgeous! Handles look a bit like rosewood.
Thought I would post this up even though it isn't a knife. Found at a flea market many years ago it is a ruler made of different types of wood in one inch segments.Labelled as to the type of wood on the back. I use it a lot on my drawings.
