Thanks Barry. I love it here. I no longer venture into town to see the fireworks, but years ago I would. Those were the days when John Williams was the Conductah of the Boston Pops Orchestra. Yes, THE John Williams...the guy who made the music of Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., and so many other scores for great movies. He was the conductah  from abut 1980 to about the mid 90's or so and is still laureat. He would conduct the Pops from about 8pm to about 10pm at the Hatch Shell on the river, and then the fireworks would kickoff to the Overture of 1812.

Good times.

Right on. Used to watch Fred Lynn break another rib on the backstop as he reached up to catch what would have been another homer. I used to see them every August until Carl Yaz retired. Still follow them casually now, but more of a Patriots fan.

Sorry for the late reply. Its a Ka-Bar Bicenntenial Trapper its 1800 of 7500. I bought it new in 1976. Ordered it from Ka-Bar out of a magazine add. Werent no internet back in them days. Still have the original box, sheath, COA, Receipt from Ka-Bar dated 8/4/76, Postal delivery stamped AUG 16, 1976.
