Nice pics. All these displays were unknown to me. They're just..... gorgeous. Specially made for the north american market.
Collecting store displays, sales reps presentation boxes, counter top displays, banners, and the like, is one of my favourite themes.

Show us what you got ya all ! For every picture you post I will try to post one in return. As long as I can.

A counter-top display from the eighties. With period-correct knives inside.
At this time, the pliers had just appeared on the Swisschamp. This tray is in my collection.
Unfortunately the green liner has been damaged in shipping. One of the Champs has made its way through the very light material (sob).

These displays have been issued in two different colors of wood, two different heights, three different languages, two different liner colors -gray and green- , two different layouts.
That makes a lot to collect !

I once had this but gave the case to someone who needed it for a shop. I did take the plates off and still have those. The other side got cracked during shipment.

I still have this Wenger salesman sampler set for advertising options for potential clients.

This overly largish Victorinox knife made from aluminium, steel, and chrome. Under is a store counter-top mat.

A closer look at the store display mat.

This counter-top display that was in a hardware store with knives included.

And this double sided store advertisement.

I also have this Wenger Business Tool store display that plugs in. The giant stapler moves up and down, and it will hold 3 Business Tools. I could never understand why it will only hold 3 seeing there are 4 different Business Tool models.

CHAKO, I am just overwhelmed, I can't compete with my measly little boxes.

The Wenger display is just amazing. Did'nt even know it had existed. The SBT is one of Wenger's biggest flops.
Too much of a tool for daily use if you ask me. I should know, I own two of them.

The "larger than life" knife is amazing, and probably fairly old when you look at the awl and bail
Used to own a mobile shop window display. Sold it for lack of room.
All in all a fascinating theme for a collection. Hard to find, hard to get.

CHAKO, your counter-top display is the ancestor to all others. Most desirable with no particular model markings on the plexiglass, and all the nice knives inside with bails and clip-point blades.
This is what a forum should always be like : give like-minded people an opportunity to show what they have, share, and learn from the others. Thank you mate.

Y'all have some of the nicest Vic displays I have ever seen.

I am still kicking myself for not buying the giant mechanical shop-display SAK from a buddy when he closed his engraving kiosk. He sold SAKs, so that was a great draw. I was offered it for $200. I wasn't into SAKs and MTs then. :(

A pair of Victorinox picnic sets to start off.

The first set has more. Perfect for the foodie roady.

The second set is good for quenching ones thirst along the way to the picnic.

Have no regrets, my friend. I got mine for €50 (55 bucks), and sold it eventually (€100) 'cos it was just collecting dust. The thing is huge, and is just a conversation piece. Great for the recreation room.... provided you do have the room. And it is fairly awkward to ship or transport.

I guess this could fit under the "display" part of this thread.

How about a rather fetching set of  Beijing Winter Olympic Victorinox knives in their display medal cases?

Even got the special bag for them.
