This also fits. How about two Bear & Son / Victorinox collaboration display tins...when Victoriox did own Bear Cutlery.

A wenger care kit. One could argue somewhat that it is a display.

Well guess I could show mine again, I don't think I uploaded pics with the brochures yet. Also have a bigger standing one to use if the collection expands and I find room.

I desperately need some help from you guys....
Should I buy this one or not? It isn't exactly cheap at about $ 350... And I do not really have the space to keep it... But it is also a sort of mother-of-all-Vic-displays...
Please notice the SwissChamp with 32 tools (NO crimpers!)

As a collector, I'd consider it yes, or at least make a decent offer.
Keep in mind that such a package NIB will cost you quite some money even without a display case.
And what are the odds of seeing one again some day? Next to none?

Agree with Mechanical!!
That display is pretty special and old (no crimpers)
Looks to me like a once in a lifetime opportunity     :D    :tu:
So if you have the money and space I'd say it's a big yes  - and possibly even if you don't  ;)
And as MC says ..... That set even w/o the display would be $150++++

Is it the original or second gen pliers? Crimpers were the third - If the original - It's a definite yes as that would be the first ever SC.
EDIT: Aha - Just spied the hook - So not first gen 91-93 - I guess!

EDIT2 PS: You'll probably find that is a very unique SC with an additional 'stop' ground into the tool tangs.
I read somewhere (here of course) they did this for these displays to keep the tools in place!

And to the rest of you - This post is great - I love all these displays - You guys are very dedicated collectors and have found some very unique items  :salute:
- And must also have very big houses!!!

We do have big boxes though...

Way too expensive. I would not be comfortable buying it, because I would never forget that the seller took advantage of the situation.
Let him keep it ! Besides, bear in mind that the featured knife is not usable, the springs definately having been modified for display. Would love to see the same display featuring the Supertimer.

Good point and too true    >:(
 - Although this is the story of older SAKs on the Bay etc ......... And we buyers keep buying

Besides, bear in mind that the featured knife is not usable, the springs definately having been modified for display.

Minor point - I think it's the tools they modify - Not the springs .....
To put in an x° stop on the tools to keep them perfectly splayed - Similar to the 90° stop on the cap-lifter/SD

To me this makes the tool even more special as it is not a main production model!
And you'd never use that SAK would you - especially if you bought it at that price!!

Best of both worlds if you ask me, because this particular one, I can still use it if I decide to.
