Coin knife from Fulcrum: Eclipse

Seems they're having a Kickstarter for this one:

I don't have OCD, I have OCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.

I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Eff the ineffable, scrut the inscrutable.

Yup. Nice looking gadget, but I don't see much real use for it, with my Midnite Manager EDC.

It seems easier to deploy than Serge Panchenko's (original) version:

I'm not 100% sure but the mechanism reminds me of the Morphing Karambit from Caswell Knives.

  • Geometry cuts but the steel determines how long.

It's interesting and unique but for a knife that size, I'll stick to the Gerber EAB.

Yeah, I just see it as a geeky keychain. Not very handy or usefull, in particular when you carry other tools more versatile/competent to take care of cutting tasks.

Interesting mechanism..... a cool gadget, but I don't think it would be a practical edc for me.

Thanks for sharing. :D

My pleasure. I think it's just that, an interesting engineered gadget. More of an ice-breaker than a real tool.
