Used the Fish Scaler today

Putting up the rabbit run today and 1 of the
springs for the locking mechanism was missing
So I found a spring and used the scaler
on my Champ to stretch and fit the spring
I couldn’t do it by hand as my tennis elbow is
giving me a lot of pain especially trying to grip something :ahhh >:(

awww, i was hoping i was gonna see some fish being scaled!
i have to say now that i think about it, the scaler is the one tool on SAKs and MTs that i have never used for its intended purpose..

I have used it to unlock old steamer trunks when I have lost the key.

Has anyone sharpened / lengthened the tines a bit to turn it into a fork?
