Seems like all they did was hybridize an ESEE and a Mora, at almost 4 times the cost of a Mora, and not much less than the ESEE.  It's 7Cr17, a low-end steel supposedly equivalent to 440A (but it's much softer). The specs don't look good enough to me for a $33 (Vertebrae) and $40 (Spine). The Mora is still king in my mind for a low-cost field knife.

I don't mind the look of the cyan one but yeah it's a little pricey.
