Help Identifying Inlaid Logo on a Companion
on: July 17, 2018, 10:34:54 PM
I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping maybe someone will recognize this logo.  It's on a Companion/Executive that appears to date from the early 70's (single leaf scissors spring).

I also notice that the VSSR stamp is 90 degrees to the long axis of the blade, whereas I think this is parallel to the long axis on modern 74 mm knives.  Any insights on this feature?

Thanks,

Myron

The logo looks to me like a weaving shuttle that are in use in the silk and fabric industry.
looking into that direction could be a nice start i think :)
Meet me also on youtube & instagram for mostly knives (and multitools) content

Excellent!  Thanks for the lead; I totally see what you mean now, and there's even a stylized thread running through it.
