Since several years it should be possible to carry a SAK if the blade length is less than 6cm. But does this really work?
Sharp objects (e.g. knives and scissors) with a blade length of under 6 cm are permitted in hand baggage. However, since some airports have stricter rules, we recommend you transport such goods in checked luggage.
Schiphol Airport (Netherlands): Although EC air safety regulations permits you to have knives with blades under 6 cm in length on board of an airplane, security personnel with not allow you to take them with you.
