Leatherman Wave/Bosch

I recently found a Leatherman Wave that has 0600 inside one handle and 0700 inside the other. On thew outside one handle also has Bosch on it. I cant find a way that one would get one custom like that or any others that also have that labeled on them. I am sure I am missing something and there is nothing special but figured I would ask those more educated than me on the topic

Could be the company bought them and put their name on them as giveaways.

Company giveaway. Hitachi also had Crunches with their logo.  Multitools are popular with tool companies, either as an item in their catalog, or as a promotional giveaway.

My dad has a Freestyle with the Hilti brand on it :cheers: So another vote for the company buying it and having it laser etched :tu:

You can find a multi-tool or Swiss Army Knife with just about every logo there is. :cheers:

Even if the manufacturer doesn't want to do it, anyone with an etching laser can add logos, lettering etc to any MT they want.

The 0600 and 0700 are just the date the handles were made (MMYY format).  Very common for them to be different on LM tools.
