I think all the impersonators use the infamous deodorant "Le manure" by Medical Bill to achieve a similar smell. According to the label it keeps thieves, scammers, sellers and bears at a safe distance.

You are probably right though that the original source is way more smelly than those watered down for safety products.

You're correct Vidar - 'Le Manure' is subject to stringent safety directives under law that renders the smell much more palatable than the real U Boat 'Funk'  we are so famous for.
