Leatherman collection drawer pocket tools

Before:

After:

For the surfers out there meet the Thruster and Shooter.

The next trio are aimed squarely at the shooting crowd. The Rail is for AR 15 type rifles, the Pump is for the shotguner, and the Cam is for the archery enthusiast.

If you like to skateboard, the Jam might be of use. Better yet, you can get it like this with a Style PS that will fit right inside.

For the snowboarder, the Hail. Better yet, you can also get this tool with a Style PS like these examples.

Also aimed at the snowboarding crowed is the Rime. There is no provision of adding or buying a Rime with a Style PS included.

The next tool is a bit interesting as there are several versions of this general purpose tool. The Piranha came out first with a regular bit driver. Then the Piranha 2 came out to use the standard Leatherman driver bits. The Croc first came out bundled with another Leatherman plier based multi-tool, then it became an item in its own right. The Croc is a simplified Piranha.

Another general tool, the Mako Ti was one of Leathermans first forays into one piece tools along with the Brewzer.

Another skateboard multi-tool, the Grind comes apart offering you a good and easy way to deal with nuts and bolts.

The Brewzer is billed as a good way to open beer and other beverages.

Back in 2014, Leatherman came out with an interesting marketing method. They made 10 slightly different one piece tools (OPT). The customer could buy any one or combinations, and then vote on their most popular with the mind that Leatherman would use that information for future products or to just sell the most popular ones. Each tool was numbered 1 to 10.  I checked on Leatherman's US web site and noted that they are only selling # 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10. Missing are # 2, and 9. If you visit other Leatherman national web sites, you will note that only a few or none are offered to those foreign markets. I bought the whole set of 10 when they first came out. Sorry for the flash obscuring their numbers. The left column is 1 to 5, and the right column is 6 to 10.

 :salute:
