Sheffield liner-lock knife cleans up beautifully
on: August 10, 2018, 10:47:00 PM
So, you've probably all seen the Sheffield box 'o multitools on eBay. I snagged another one because I needed parts from the plier tool for my Coast plier mod project. In that box comes a liner lock knife, with the same puffy stickers on the rest of the tools.

But under those puffy stickers are brushed aluminum handles with nicely drilled and chamfered holes. And five minutes on a bench grinder with a buffing wheel gets a really amazing result. Before and after photos below!

Granted, it's not anything spectacular. But once the puffy stickers are gone it's a fun little OHO liner lock knife.

Another thing, the casting has indentations on the back for where holes would be drilled and tapped for a clip.
