Zeds Shed ,goings on :-)
on: August 13, 2018, 05:26:55 PM
A while back Tony said to me about doing a post about my shed and the stuff I do in it,I mainly sharpen and restore old knives and tools ,but I also make micarta handles and other materials , I'll add some of my old stuff as I go along,at the moment in making a lot of micarta beads for knife lanyards ,hi viz being the most popular as makes it easier to find your knife while camping  :tu: , I go under ZedbeadZ on FB and also can be found on Instagram under zed6309  :tu: here are pics from today's shed adventures  :salute:

Very cool!

Hopefully the extra income works out :tu:

As an aside, I've been listening to the history of England podcast and he has said he records it in his shed. Now you seem to make a bunch of stuff in your shed.

When I think of a shed, it's the place where the lawnmower sleeps and all the garden tools live. What you're doing is the kind of stuff I do in the garage. And the history of England guy is doing stuff I would think would be done in a den or a study. So, are sheds different in the UK vs the US, or are the words being used differently? I'm having a hard time visualizing them

BTW, This is my shed

No, it’s a shed, it’s just what he works out of. Back in Pennsylvania it’s all I had, and yet now I have a 2 car garage and yet I can’t work out if it unless I have someone watching me, so my workshop is just a small closet,

As JR said it is literally a shed 6x5ft ,home to my bikes and my workbench  :tu: pretty normal in the UK to have a little workplace in your shed ,it's a escape from the world  :tu:

Ever thought of making those micarta handles for firesteel rods? It would look realy good.

 :pok: :pok:

When I first saw the paracord + micarta, it looked like firesteel rods.
