just found this on youtube:

A collection of SAKs which never went into production.
Merit Badges Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the minimal sak (2 layers or fewer) for thirty (30) consecutive days. I don't understand why they didn't manufacture that fork.  ??? ??? ???

- This little fork was meant for onions or olives in vinegar. Not enough potential customers.

- For the comb, Urs Wyss (the guy with the white shirt) says it is for hygiene reasons :
It is not advisable to put side to side a comb and a knife you cut your food with.

- The tapemeasure was too tiny to be readable/usable, and the lamp goes back to "before the LED" times,
so, as Urs says, it was 90% lamp and 10 knife. Makes little sense.

No need for a comb...the fish scaler works just fine for that.

And what is going on with the one behind the fork model? The blade seems to only be sharpened at the tip and it has a tang lock hole like you find in traditional switchblades, but there is no room for the rest of a trigger latch. It cant be that because the logical place to put it would be on the outside next to a scale. There is a main, but that doesnt look like a normal pen blade either. So what is it?

Perhaps it has a little too much flair so such a stoic and traditional brand as Victorinox?

Often its hair from the cats. They like the fish scaler. Too bad that the Workchamp XL doesn't has this tool. I've still to wait until tomorrow to get that beast  :climber:
