Quick and easy mod, just swapping tools around. I snagged a Remgrit MP600 a while back, for $17. It was great, except the combo blade was over-sharpened poorly in the past, and the bottle opener driver was broken. I filed down the driver to be useable again, and spent hours with a lansky to get the blade back to somewhat okay. Tip still needed another hour worth of work. Well damn my time is worth something, and another MP600 flashed up on eBay for $17.50, and it had a perfect main blade (with factory edge) and bottle opener. And it was a plain-edged blade to boot! (I've never liked combo blades).
So, I swapped in the PE blade and the bottle opener, and then noticed the MP600 I just acquired had an extra flat driver. I tossed my can opener and put that flat driver in my tool as well. Now I've got a pretty great customized MP600, IMO. I always carry a SAK, so a can opener is something that's redundant in a MT, and this is unlikely to leave my garage anyhow.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with the leftover MP600... I could put it together with a broken file, two can openers, a serrated blade and a combo blade, but that seems silly...
