Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Cybertool (any variant), Swisschamp, Champion or Toolchest for sixty (60) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge by carrying  a GEC knife and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Day 29:

PL saw some work today cutting zip-ties.

Bent and cut a brass rod for a makeshift dust cleaning thingy.

Cut off a warning label with the knife.

Cut some year marks with the scissors.

Used the pliers to remove some fire supression covers, and as a bit driver.

Great challenge RF52, and kudos to you to keep this up all by yourself and with so many pics and great uses for the Powerlock :2tu:

It makes me wish for one as well... perhaps as a knifeless one for carrying in the UK...

Thanks to Nix too, who I understand was the purveyor to the court :D and to the other supporters for, well, their support :D in what can't always have been an easy challenge. Last day today and you'll have earned your badge in spades!

Day 30!

Found some uses on the last day also

Pliers to hold a piece of brass I was cutting which got to hot for my fingers.

Loosening and thightening some bolts on a bandsaw.

Cutting open some meat and veggies for dinner.

A couple of beauty shots from the woods.

And removed some decorative stitching from a belt with the knife and can opener.

A good ending to the challenge.

I have gotten real fond of the PL during this month of use, and haven't had much issues with it except for soft wire cutters and that the knife hits the inside of the handles when closed.
Overall I would recommend the PL to anyone looking for a good, sturdy tool
