 :like: Nice watches everyone!

I lost the F-91w that I bought in 2015.  Less than a week after getting a cheapo NATO strap for it.  ::)
Just ordered a new F-91w off the 'bay, hopefully that will flush the old one out of hiding.
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

You will probably find the old one when the new one arrives. That is always my best way of finding lost stuff too

Still enjoying the Casios today. I am still amazed with the Japanese movement chronograph for $39. :)

I know it isn't 'cheap', but it is awesomely priced for a chronograph. :woohoo:

Edit: typo.

Impressive watch, GLBM. :like: it looks expensive! :D

My new F-91w came today.  :mail: And the old one hasn’t turned up.
The shade of black on this one is a tad odd.  A sort of matte black, it’s a bit shiny in the light, that I don’t recall seeing on the old one, possibly due to wear.  :dunno: Best I can describe it is ‘Batman black’. Which isn’t a bad thing.  :D

Thank you, Pabs!

Congrats on the new 91. Casio black it quite nice. Slap some Vics on your belt and go out like, "I'm Batman." :like:

F-91W probably the least expensive watch they make. Although it does have a slightly murky history https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casio_F-91W?wprov=sfti1

Having said that it’s so inexpensive that you can break it and throw it away without a second thought.

Buyer beware though, there are a lot of fakes about.

(Image removed from quote.)

This is no doubt my watch during middle school. In fact, it was my first good watch. I think I only wore another cheap Casio model (one with some solar power) when entering high school. I still have that second watch today, and that is 20 years old. For the F-91W watch, I remember the buttons tended to get worn out before the watch itself. I wore the thing so often, the band got hardened and eventually cracked  :( . At some point, I came up with the idea of putting a layer of packaging tape over top of the watch face to protect it.
