Paladin PT-525/SOG Powerplay
on: August 27, 2018, 05:47:24 AM
I picked this up in a lot sale of three multi tools.  Average tool price in the lot was $12.66 US.   Neat tool with a unique electrical tool load.  The knife needs sharpening, otherwise it is in pretty good shape.

That was a heck of a good deal, Yadda! :like:
The only "oddball" SOG I have right now is a SOG Blacktip(deep sea fishing tool of sorts). Some of the job specific SOGs are getting really hard to find. I'm always watching for the "real" PowerPlay(not the crummy SOG that was released a couple of years ago).
Congrats on the score!

I like the new Power Play. Except for the Phillips head, which isn't really a #1 or a #2, and cams out of both, it's a great tool. I prefer it over my leatherman. All the outside tools are OHO, even the can opener and phillips driver. Mine has survived a lot of abuse and it's honestly one of my favorite multitools.

Charles.

Necro thread revival!  This was one of my better buys.
