Smith & Wesson -Suspension Knockoff
on: August 27, 2018, 06:02:25 AM
As has been said by others, this is a knock off of the Gerber Suspension or turnabout.   Nowhere near the same quality and the tool load is slightly different, but the Sheath is nice. A couple of side by sides for comparison.

Very interesting, Yadda. I have not seen this S&W branded tool yet. The only one I've seen recently,  branded S&W, is a sliding plier MT, which I bought.
Thanks for sharing this comparison! :salute:

I have a couple that are knock-offs of Bear Jaws MTs, and another that isn't.

Did yours have "1st Production Run" etched on the blade ?  Several of mine have (S & W must have thought it made them "collectable" or something)

No, no blade etching.  Do you think I have a production error?
