Delivery times and tracking shipments from Russia

Hello everyone!

As I am waiting on my order from Loki to arrive. Just out of curiosity, since this is my first time ordering from Russia and with that my first time dealing with Russian Post.

My shipment status has been stuck on "delivered to country of destination" since September 06, and now its the 13th.

What's your guys experience with the shipping times and the "Track & Trace" part of it?...is this normal?

My experience with having stuff send from China to ireland is that it can take anywhere between 10 - 20 days to receive something...sometimes even 2-3 months for unknown reasons. Stuff from America to Ireland or Denmark usually takes anywhere between a few days to a month (usually not longer than that), and stuff from some other EU country to ireland takes usually around 5 working days (plus / minus 1 day or 2)

Seems random to me. I've sent items to Ukraine and they got there well before I sent items to Australia. I've sent stuff to UK and was stoked to have it arrive in what seemed like days. Sadly I've shipped within the USA and

lets say it took a detour.

Loki to Germany (Ireland should be similar) in my experience takes roughly a fortnight. Don't trust the tracking messages, sometimes statuses are not updated at all, or too late, or to an illogical status (one gets the impression status code mappings between countries are off), or any combination of the above.

That’s so true!

I guess I’ll just expect it like I would expect an order from AliExpress, meaning it will arrive eventually ....hopefully before the next turn of the century

Delivered to country of destination means it is in Ireland. But customs may be holding on to it to check for plutonium or novichok.

Send to the UK
Twice it took just over two weeks
But most times about a week

I have had some stuff from Russia and Ukraine, take a month or so just to leave the country, status updates from around those parts, I take as a guide, or at least an aspiration, rather than reality.

Speak of the devil...

As of 01:23 AM of all times AfterShip actually updated with the shipment being at my local distribution center here in Cork. (September 14th)

And it seem to have arrived in Dublin at 11:52 AM yesterday (September 13th)....even though it didn’t update yesterday

Last update before that was “delivered to country of destination” on September 06. With no indication of what has happened between September 06 and September 13

No updates since 01:23 AM this morning either though...hmm

said it was still in America waiting for customs
It stayed like that for days
Next day they delivered the package
but tracking still said waiting for Customs

yes, can't trust that.
I bought a thing last week, from Germany. It was "shipped" the next day after purchase, and spent 4 days on Germany,
yesterday evening it was still in Germany (Supposedly) and this morning I received it on my door, at 9AM, totally unexpected

it was DHL, which often does that I've found
