A model I didn't knew, with a great story behind it.

Could someone translate why the knife has the safe rounded tip?

I get the " peaceful concept" but is there more to the pattern design?  Some historical aspect?

Thanks

The legend of the Najac knife, called the "peace knife", starts in the XIII century, with a certain Peyrot Vidal, called de Najac, a minstrel and also a knife forger, that wandered through Occitanie*. At that time, it was prohibited for the vagabonds to carry a pointed blade. Peyrot Vidal decided to forge a rounded point knife. He conceived a folding knife with a handle of wood or horn with an elegant and singular blade whose point ends in a round tip, avoiding that law.
