SAK relationship diagrams
on: September 10, 2018, 07:06:07 PM
Hi everyone
As a beginner i really love LeaF's SAK evolutions diagrams. So, to do my part, i would like to create something similar for 93mm models and more (if no one did them already).
Of course, not being an expert (yet!  >:D) It could be nice if i would just post here the results from time to time to have some feedback from more expert users and maybe discuss a better way to do it, in case (like listing the tools, add images, etc).

p.s.i can't download your 91mm version in full resolution at LaeF's blog (doesn't seem to exist anymore), does someone have it?

Thanks
cheers :)

Good luck!
If you need some support, don't hesitate to contact me via PM. I did my diagrams, using some online tool, if you're interesting - let me know.

P. S. My diagrams should be available in bigger resolution in my blog, will check soon

Thank you VERY much LeaF. Can you tell me what you used to do it?
I found the high res on you blog, the old link was not working anymore.

I think i will try to start with the 93mm as soon as my girlfriend goes to bed. :) I will post something as soon as i have a basic structure.

Thank you for the support

Hello everyone
here is my first draft. [the high quality is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kj6fs0yyk72fozo/93mm_hd.jpg?dl=0]
I avoid connection with more than 1 tool difference (so either +1, -1 or a switch). I followed the sakwiki but i could have made some mistake. I took as starting point the Solo Alox and the Soldier 1951.
Any suggestion is really welcome, of course.

Awesome work, ghiekorg! Thanks!

 :tu: :tu: :salute:

May I make a suggestion? If you move the Electrician Solo from below the Apprentice to above it, you can move the Sailor, Woodsman and Technician Plus a bit up, making the pic shorter.

Great work!
One comment (for now) - there are no relation between Electrician and Electrician Plus. It's.. strange?

Great eye. :D I connected the duo instead of the normal one. That is correct now :)

Thank you :)
yesterday i started the 111mm but that should take a bit longer. The 93mm remains for further correction or adding knives not listed (i took all the one available on wikisak, i don't know if there are models not listed)
cheers :)

edit: i noticed some errors in the 93mm diagram. Will correct them soon

Couple small tweaks:

- The Bushcrafter has "Can pener" below, instead of "Can opener"

- If you make the connection between the Bushcrafter and the Farmer connect underneath the Farmer box, you gain some more space (i.e. shorter image). There are several triple connections on top/bottom models, so this won't be an issue.
