That is huge.

Well my latest 24 watch case is not up to par. I bought this from another seller thinking it was the same case...well...I was wrong. The case is designed to look like the other 3 that I have but is larger, has crappy inside dividers that move, and the top lexan is super cheap and not up to the build quality of the others.

Not sure I want to use this, and am thinking of buying another off of the same seller that sold me the other 3 ...if I can.

This meant that I had to relocate the watch collection to what I think is a better place. Not sure if this will be its permanent spot or not...but not wanting to use the other odd box, has forced me to also restructure the watches.

I placed all of my automatics into the winder box. I also was forced to put two non-automatics in there for now.

I had to also place my solar watches on the top box, necessitating a bit of a rotation as well.

The middle box.

The bottom most box.

So that is it for now. I will definitely have to get the same type of box as the previous 3 that I have. That last one is too cheap for my liking.

It's a shame the fourth box isn't good, but I'm sure it will all work out. :)

Agreed...except note that the 4th box is:

1. A little longer.
2. The clasp is smaller.
3. The inside partition is thinner and movable.
4. The window is very cheap and bulges outwards.
5. The box is lighter and has a very cheap finish with some blemishes.
6. The foam inserts are longer and not of good quality.

The sad part is that I paid the same for all boxes.

Got the new case in just yesterday. Same as the other boxes...I am most happy with it.

On an aside...I am not sure I want to keep the watch collection where it is now. I am thinking of moving it as the place is mostly in the dark...and I would like a little more ambient light striking my solar powered watches. I have noted that the brightest lumen are from my Seiko dive watches.

I have also noted that the Invicta watches are very nice...but their blue lumen is dim.

This is a tentative setup. I cleared a space in my kitchen where I have a set of LED lights always on. This should help those solar powered watches. On top of that. I like that I can splay out the collection. I have found that I tend to wear those watches in the top box as the others tend to be out of sight, out of mind. This way, I can see everything at a glance. I also can clear more space for the new box. Come to think of it, I may move the watch winder to the right and place the new box in its place. I have a plug that way that would make it a cleaner instillation.

Glad the new box is what you wanted, Chako! :tu:

The collection looks fantastic. I like the way the boxes display the watches. My two boxes are half under glass and half in a drawer below. It works for me since I don't have any solar watches(aside from my beater 740), but I do forget about some of the watches at times, because of half of them being hidden away in the lower drawers. I'm thinking about getting one of those boxes you have for the watches I wear often. Gonna have to wait though, as the LM Vista got my mad money for a bit..haha

Thanks guys.,

When it is time, be sure to buy from the seller Forlei off of Amazon if you can. They sell the far better product with real glass tops, better fit and finish all around.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B074KS13CB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The cheaper box is sold by Cas De' Lux...

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01GOY7VYS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This seller lies about the glass...as it is only cheap vinyl.

Just take a real close look at both product photos and you can see the difference.

Thank you, Chako!

Storage is never something I'd cheap out on and the top one you linked looks very nice. The off-gas from crappy watch boxes can cause damage to watches. Particularly makes the leather band adhesives deteriorate. :ahhh

Got a few more weird watches streaming their way to my door. Guess I am looking for some very different watches currently.

Tevise T832 Automatic.

Forsining Automatic.

Skmei drum watch 1486.

And this weird watch with a central rotating disk with a ball bearing to tell the minutes.
