Nice, that monster was a thought,
As for the calculator I was the only one who had one cause no one else wore watches, yet now everyone comes out of the woodwork showing they had one but just didn’t wear it, heck there even on tv shows..

I got my High School nickname "Gadgets" because of all the Casio watches I wore back then. I guess nothing much has changed over the years, I have a Casio Pathfinder in my current rotation.

I am currently struggling with self in regards to a yellow Frankenmonster that a place currently has.

Yeah, I had to go back. Now they also have a Seiko Tuna, but they want 200 hundred for it. I know that is a deal...but I must resist.

Love your new Seikos. Wow.
I am in a budget period right now, but will be going for another Seiko Auto at some point. :ahhh

I started to buy one of those Bulova Automatics, but felt the balance window would have looked better at 6 O'clock. Still a great looking watch though. :)

Thanks. I just bought some watch tools off of Amazon.

I think it is hilarious that I still have every watch I ever owned...from the first when I was age 6 to today. Such a pack rat am I that I could never toss the calculator watch away even when the keyboard disintegrated. Guess me and that watch have too many good memories.

I understand being sentimental. It is part of the territory of having a collector's mindset. Of course you know that better than I do.
We determine reasons to keep stuff, and sentiment is a good reason.  :)

Awesome possum on the watch tools, Chako! I think you'll have fun with it. And, not to mention, the money saved not taking the battery watches to the jeweler every few years. :woohoo:

:o That has got to be the biggest watch case I've ever seen. It makes those 36/38mm cased watches look like ladies watches. :like:

Looks much more reasonably sized, now that you've compared it to standard 'large' watches. Thank you for the side-by-side, Chako. :)

That is a cool looking watch for sure. No fake bezel or fake sub-dials, so that is nice. :like:

I have enjoyed a many of the brand-less watches in the past. I like them, because I don't have to worry about accidentally hitting them on stuff or breaking them as much.  :)

 Seeing your collection, I suspected, you wouldn't go fake-function.

I like watches from most walks of life, but functions that don't do anything are a pet-peeve of mine. Shamefully, I must admit, I have one watch with a fake function. The crown doesn't do anything on this one, but it is digital and analog all at once.

Apologies for veering off topic.

Well after doing a bit of online sleuthing and close look at all the legal print on the instruction sheet...the newest addition is produce by Fossil for the MJD line or watch brand.

Now worries. I have been looking at smart watches for ages now and haven't bought any of them...that is until I saw one on Amazon with a ton of reviews for less than 30 bucks. My expectations are non existent but I couldn't turn up the opportunity for that price point to see if a smart watch is a smart move on my part. I bought a Qiufeng DZ09. After buying the watch online, I have found a few reviews that appear to favour the watch. Mind you, for 30 bucks I am sure I won't be disappointed. I am just wondering how they can sell one for that low of a price. I am under no illusions of having it fully Google ready etc. Just curious is all.

I do have one with fake dials...but I consider that one more of a lighter with a built in watch.

I can't come up with a reason to get a smart watch yet. Can't use MT.o with a smart watch.

Good luck with the one you ordered. Hopefully it'll be better than you expect.
