Got another addition today. An Invicta Bolt Sport. I wasn't going to buy one of these due to the rubber casing...then It sort of grew on me. I thought it might do rather well when it comes to shock impacts...not that I would hammer with it. I do like the carbon fiber face, and it is far more subtle than the image shows, the flash really highlighted the fiber pattern. This is my third Bolt.  :salute:

Thanks. Never thought I would get a Hugo Boss...as the name does nothing for me. However, love the design and colour of this watch. The price was right as I got it on sale. I couldn't turn it down.

I had to laugh at this situation...as the look on the Jewelers face was priceless. I bought a few very cheap Techno King blinged up watches for fun off of Amazon. My students really get a kick out of them...so wearing them is a bit entertaining. Well one of them recently suffered a dead battery. I decided to bring it into the Jewelers to get the battery replaced. While she was snapping the case back on, she somehow broke the glass. The look she gave me was priceless. I seriously had a hard time to not laugh at the situation. She was relieved once I told her the watch was not an expensive one, and to not worry about it. I did however promptly bought another one off of Amazon as soon as I could. It came in with another watch I ordered from the same place. Because these are shipped by Amazon, they come in a few days with free shipping.

The sparkly crew...Note the broken glass watch is third from the left.



I wonder if I can repair the broken glass on that watch. I didn't pay much for it, and am wondering if it is even possibly, and if it would be worth it.  :think:

Got a replacement, and a new blue stone watch to boot.

Just got this one in today as well as that G-Shock.

I have never heard of Brigada...however, when I spied this one with a maple leaf on it...me being Canadian..there was a connection resulting in a purchase.

The packaging was a bit more substantial than I was expecting.





Inside was one of those catch all instruction booklets and a small cleaning cloth with the company name on it.



After taking off all the protection, the watch is simply a lot more beautiful in person them it looked online.



The wood on this watch is Verawood. They did a great job on the bracelet as well.



A stunningly beautiful watch with a small Canadian accent.

Looks like the Seiko movement they are using now, which I am curious about how well it runs. I am not the biggest fan of the older 21J Miyota movements. The Miyota movement is good when it is right, but a lot of them fail within a year. I have a Pro-Diver Auto with the Miyota that has worked perfectly for almost 10 years. But, on the other hand, I had another Pro Diver bought at the same time that stopped running in a few months; then another that stopped in 10 months.  :ahhh

The sweep is ok...not as nice as my Seiko Orange Monster or Yellow Frankenstine.

I just accidentally bought a Casio G Shock GA2000 1A9 off of Amazon. I was toying with buying one...and pulled the trigger accidentally due to the differences in front end on my Android cell phone.

Should be in by August 18 if all goes well.

Guess it was meant to be. :rofl:  :facepalm:
