The watch is of good quality from what I can see. Love the hidden LED function. You can access the time, date, and alarm functions. From what I gather, the red button functions much like a call back. It will show whatever you last accessed information wise. Kinda neat, and I love the high visibility watch face. Those markings make reading the hour super easy.

Just be mindful, there is also a Shark Army series of watches that are not from the same company...on Amazon.

Here is their website...

Might be time to resurrect my Citizen Eco-Drive watches. It will cost me 55 dollars to replace their solar charged batteries per watch. Time to probably get my SkyHawks up and running again.

Might want to shop around. I found a new capacitor cell for my Eco for $27 shipped on eBay. :)

Might be good to ask the jeweler how much to change the cells if you provide them.
But, then again, they are definitely worth $55ea to get running. You might be able to get them started back up by leaving them in a window with sunlight as well.

Tried that already. No amount of light will get them started. The store sends them off to Citizen...so the price is reasonable.

But, that Bulova. Love that era of Bulova watches. The Bulova Millennia MoonPhase, from the same time period, is one of my favorite watches. :)

I found the Invicta at the local Winners store. I might be re-visiting them tomorrow. They got a few basic Victorinox watches along with a small assortment of Diesel, Fossil, Maserati, Armani Exchange, and other similar fashion watches for sale.

I am a bit happy right now. I managed to revive one of my Eco-Drives...the dress watch. I placed the 3 Eco-Drives under an OTTLite that I had bought for stamp inspecting. Right away, the dress watch revived itself. The second hand is doing that 2 tick jump letting me know that the battery is way down. It was so down that the second hand wasn't even moving. No sigh of life from the two SkyHawks...but maybe if I let them soak up the rays overnight, something good might come out of it. Otherwise, I will bring them to get a capacitor battery installed.

I just re-checked the watches. Things are looking really good at the moment. The blue Angels SkyHawk appear to be somewhat alive. The second hand is moving...albeit jumping two seconds at a time...and I now see the beginning of one bar on the energy gauge.  :woohoo:

I hope the other SkyHawk will revive itself...X fingers.

That OTTLite is intense. Guess more light might fix some issues.

Fingers crossed you can save $110 or more, Chako! :)

Before I changed the capacitor cell in my Eco, I got it started by leaving it in my car a few days under the windshield. I do regret the extreme exposure, as it could have damaged the solar dial, but thankfully it is fine now.

I do have 2 of them now running...albeit still having the second hand move in 2 second intervals...and the Blue Angels SkyHawk has "recharge" flashing...so I guess time will tell if it will progress any further. Going to leave the light on all night and see what will happen in the morning. The middle SkyHawk still appears to be down for the count though.

Last check before going to bed. I pressed a button on the middle non active watch and noted that it was off the time setting. Turning the crown to time got the watch started! Now I have 3 active Eco-Drive watches...and to think I was sure they had to be repaired all this time. I did know that the SkyHawks have a 10 year reserve...so that means they were not getting enough incident lighting in the house. I think that OTTLite will come in handy for watch duty.

Thanks MadPlumbarian. Looks like everything will be alright. First bar is now showing on the power meter, and all 3 watches are now showing the proper second hand movement. I am going to give them light all night and see what the charge meter will tell in the morning.  :tu:

Zombie watches? I like that.  :D

The dress watch does not tell me how much charge the battery has in it. The middle SkyHawk is now currently showing 2 out of 3 bars. The Blue Angels is only at 1 bar. I think I may just leave the light on all day and see where that gets me. If I see no movement, I may have to bring the Blue Angels in for a battery replacement. Only time will tell.

Just got home. Bering goes all out in their packaging.

A glass container with an air tight top?

Even more packaging.

This is the Bluetooth Smart Traveler.

I haven't had the time as of yet to read the manual, download the application, and to sync the time to my local time zone.

And a video to show the neat feature of this watch.

It is a very nice timepiece. I did however have a few problems. The instructions were vague at best. There appeared to be several competing apps on the Google play store. I found the one I needed after downloading a few others. Even then, syncing the watch was a bit of a pain. The watch came with a little metallic key. The folks at the store though the key did magical things. I saw it for what it was, a simple bracelet pin tool. One I broke after pressing it a few times into the crown. Lucky for me I carry an even more sturdier version on my key-chain at all times. I eventually managed to get the watch and phone paired...once I tried various combinations that the instructions neglected to inform me about. After doing a little tech voodoo, the magic really happened as the  watch paired with the phone....and  the correct time and date showed up on the watch. Whew. That was a lot harder then it needed to be. Bering dropped the ball on the anemic instructions. Once the operation is done however, the act is simplicity itself...that is once you see the operation succeed once that is. The instructions stated that once the pairing occurs, you don't really need a phone in Bluetooth connection range, as the watch takes over.  :woohoo:
