The shop I'm working at for their security system has one new on display with red scales.

Is it worth grabbing it? As an alarm tech I could use one of those...
But are they hard to come by nowadays?
What should I be expecting to pay and what should I be paying max?

I'd grab it.  I don't know what a fair price to pay is.  A quick check on the bay of fleas shows US$25 to a silly US$80 NIB.

I'd ask about it, maybe they'd give it away for free if you do a good job.  :D
I'd say it is the hardest to find out of the three. S4 and P4 are quite common.

As long as the price isn't ridiculously high for what you would consider for that to be, I'd say get it :salute: if to high then it should be a pass :tu:

The price for the E4 is €45, which includes tax.

That's more expensive than ES4 here in the UK (not by much), but I suppose chances of picking up a NIB E4 are going to be pretty slim now

The ES4  has the same head, but the other tools are inferior IMO, as are the ergos. If I can pick only four multipurpose tools, an E4 will be one of them. (Along with a Vic Compact, Rebar, and a DocAllen)

I’ve heard as well that the earlier versions are better. Up to you my friend but if I had the funds I would buy 2. Hard to find NIB and this opportunity may not happen again

But with all things if you have other responsibilities (kids, etc.) then maybe let this one go 😀. Who will love us when we are old and ugly?😜
