Wenger Warranty? Though Gone, But Not Forgotten?

Amici,
I have an old Wenger Tool Chest that's been sitting in my collection for some time now that's desperately in need of service.

What it needs is a new set scales, (easy), a good cleaning and sharpening, (again, easy), but the kicker is that it needs a new magnifying glass installed, since the old one fell out years ago.  I went ahead and sent Victorinox an email to see if I mailed it over the great pond to Ibach, if they would or could repair it. Especially since they now officially own Wenger.

So far no reply. But in the meantime, I'm trying to develop a plan "B"..,any ideas? This knife is just screaming to be properly serviced and repaired, then to be put back into official rotation.

Vic promissed to take over the Wenger waranty, so unless they're out of parts...

I have good experience with their customer support. One time a message from me got lost somewhere though, so you might want to resend it if you haven't heard back within a week.
Merit Badges Take part in the christmas pool or a rak type giveaway. Those wanting to say thank you for a rak may also nominate for the santa. I'm pretty sure they will at least try to repair it, my Wenger Evo 10 ST was accepted for repairs no questions asked.
