Day 9:

Used it to open up my 4 month old son’s 10th birthday gift. Also got a pic of the spirit with my birth year soldier.

I love the concaved back of the blade.  Used the blade to cut a jug to use to soak some parts and the can opener tip to remove the grips on a repro '58 Remington.

Hmm. You got me thinking now. I imagine the silver tools in the XBS make up for this somewhat, but I've thought the same (not pretty) about adding a Hip Clip to my all-black Spirit.

But on the other hand, what's to stop me from buying a silver Spirit plus a Hip Clip (apart from the obvious fact that I already have a black Spirit)?  :think: :think: :ahhh

Speaking about accessories in the same colour as the tool carrying them, I have just received this LM removable bit driver in black. Nice fit optically and works OK, although mechanically not as snug a fit as on a LM Phillips.

There wasnt much use for Spirit today, used pliers to grab splinter out of my finger.

Took down my bean and pea cane trellis' tonight,  so sat and took them apart to store the canes in the garage.  A few tie wraps removed with the dark spirit

Today my Spirits big and small flat head screwdriver and pliers were used to un-stuck the adjustment pullies of some window blinds.
Funny, this only happens in our kids rooms  :think:

So far the Spirits pliers tip is pointy enough for me  :tu:
