Day 9
Not the prettiest mod for a Spirit XBS but I'm loving the Night ize Hip Clip.
(Image removed from quote.)
(Image removed from quote.)

Hmm. You got me thinking now. I imagine the silver tools in the XBS make up for this somewhat, but I've thought the same (not pretty) about adding a Hip Clip to my all-black Spirit.

But on the other hand, what's to stop me from buying a silver Spirit plus a Hip Clip (apart from the obvious fact that I already have a black Spirit)?   :ahhh
The temptation... the temptation... need to  RESIST...

I blame Douglas!  :twak:
During the September Storm Wave Challenge I carried my Wave with the belt clip and Leatherman did their clip right.  The Wave was easy to carry in the pocket with the clip but was a little large sometimes.  The Spirit on the other hand just all but vanishes carried like this.  I also have stared putting my Zebra Light in my back pocket using its clip.  I keep finding myself panicking because I've carried a MT & Flash light in a pouch on my belt for the better part of 20 years.  Just to end up laughing at myself when I realize everything is ok.  I wish Vic had a clip design for the Spirit.  The Hip Clip is a wondefull alternative it's just not as classy an option as the Wave Clip.

Nice to see you've not harvested the gnomes yet Kev. They're better after a frost

The gnomes are my mums addition to the garden. There were 4 but one seems to have suffered severe garden fork unknown trauma

Slicing home grown tomatoes at lunch to go in my corned beef sandwiches.  Factory grind on the spirit and it just glided through them

That blade really is phenomenal.  Overused it to cut the end from a cigar and it does better than many clippers!

Day 9
I've had the Spirit with me on my bike tour, but didn't stop for any pics as I wanted to be back before it's dark and the storm arrives  :dunno:

I've earned myself a little something after that and celebrated the grand opening with the Spirit  :D

day 11 - mostly food prep today

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

I think when he fills it up, he will have enough to by a SAK of his choice. That’s a good ideal.  :tu:
