Sissors for Diesel
on: September 22, 2018, 01:13:41 AM
I was cutting some thick paper with  Diesel scissors, and it was not cutting very well.
My Diesel is only a few weeks old from NEW, and not been used that much.

I tried with my Leatherman Surge scissors, and it cut the thick papers like butter.
I tried with other MP600 MP400 scissors, and  they cut no problems.

So what is wrong with this Diesel scissors? Are they known to have weak scissors? Or have I got a lemon Diesel? It cuts thin papers ok, but if it is a little thick, then it just gives up.

I think the scissors in my frankengerber came from a Diesel.
Haven't had issues with them, just seem like the MP600 scissors but longer.
Maybe try sharpening them some.

Thank you for your info & advice. Yes, I will try to sharpen it.  :salute:
