We shouldn't jump the shark until season 5 really. 

Rons laboratory will probably eat a lot of the budget - 8 or 9 computers, tv screens and bubbling chemicals. Shark pools and robot assistants don't come cheap.

That’ll work Marc but I don’t want you feeling typecast. Can we have you as Chief for series 1 and then see you running for Mayor as a cliffhanger ? I’m thinking you need some shady links to the Mob (well, Ron anyway) and a colourful past? Can you ad-lib any of this because at this rate I’ll never get it written before the Pilot airs?

Do you guys think maybe I should do like a different musical number at the end of each show? Before the group belly laugh bit obviously. I mean, by the end of the show, I'll be pretty tanked up anyway, so it'll come naturally.

Oh, that's quite obvious. The dark moustachio'd fella on the right is Fags "Mandango" Carter. One must bear in mind that they may have made DC by now, but they started out as humdrum PCs on the motorbike division in Traffic back in the 1980s. They didn't last long there after an inexplicable and largely unreported incident made one Kawasaki Z1800 out of two Z900s.
