Some awesome guys have compiled a list of the knives used in the series:hatsoff:
I will do my best to take decent pictures of implements/layers etc so we can identify these beauties. The list should make identifying them a lot easier.

If you are a member of macgyveronline please let them know that I will be going through the series for pictures.
If a picture does not match the sak name, let me know.

1x06 - Trumbo's World

This is one of my favorite episodes. I was a kid when I first saw it, and I can safely say that this is the reason I am interested in insects, arachnids, and animals in general.

1x07 - Last Stand

MacGyveronline says Executive/Tinker for this.
The first sak that we see on the table is impossible to identify.
The sak used is an Executive (split ring positioning, blade size, two layers).
Are the two saks the very same? Could be.

1x09 - The Prodigal

Wenger Viking/Commander
MacGyverOnline says this is a Tinker small. However, this has a corkscrew, and in the first picture, the bottle opener's hook is very close to the knife's body, too close to be a Victorinox.

What a strong season, the first one. Lots of great episodes in there, it is no wonder it remains the favorite of most fans. And considering its age, it's still holding up quite well, for the most part. There are of course signs of days long gone, but still a very solid season, that established what MacGyver means to people.

2x01 - The Human Factor

Climber/Camper
Note that the hook did not exist when this episode was made, so the scissors back-spring of a Climber without the hook is different than that of today's Climber with hook.
I think this model is a Climber. The middle tool looks more like scissors than the saw, and the back-spring does not look that thin to be that of a saw.
