Not having handled an Izula I, I can only comment on the II. I would say the extra half inch on the handle makes a big difference for prolonged use. The Izula II is very comfortable to use (with the micarta scales) - The scales on the I don't go all the way to the end either so I would class it as a three fingered hold (depending on the size of your mitts obvs). If you have a choice between the two of them I can't recommend the II highly enough. It would be the only small fixed blade I own if Nix hadn't sent me the sweet sweet Dozier Hope this helps. Fantastic knives either way.
Yes, it neck carries well, even better is a sort of 'round the neck under the arm' set up. It's also small enough to carry nicely in the pocket. The sheath is excellent - great retention and very compact. I'm happy to do any Izula II tests you want
Welp, vet bills+purchAsing a rebar before I knew how much they would be put an end to this purchase . That’s life.
The 2 is here! I feel like I chose a good sheath companion for it.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
