Only thing that got used today was the toothpick. No pictures, but I have tomorrow off so I will absolutely get a nice shot in daylight.  I think I need to work on my flash photography.

We had a lump of pie dough in the freezer from.....recently, yeah, recently......  This got defrosted, thawed, and rolled out to make the pie's "coffin". Huntsman did the honors and created a few steam vents:

Day 5
Finally an action shot to share. I used the saw to take a cutting from a Gumbo Limbo tree and to scrape some of the bark down to the cambium layer so the cutting will take root.  No need to wait until Arbor Day to plant a tree. :D

Lazy knife day at work with meetings and stuff. Just the ordinaey foodprep and tea ceremony.
Back home scissors for package wrapping and knife for preparing the evening meal...shroooooms. With bacon and onions in a creamy sauce.  :drool:

Day 05 :

My buddy and I are going on a hunting trip later in the week (Wed through Fri). We'll be camping in a Forrest Service cabin and won't have internet access (or cell service  :)). The cabin is close to the roadless (no motorized vehicles permitted) area we will be hunting. Spent a good bit of the day organizing gear and making a list of stuff I need to get (mostly food and some Li batteries). So not much use for the Huntsman today.

However, a Winter storm is rolling in and temps are dropping. This prompted Mrs Nix to request a pot of my famous 'hot chocolate'. If there were a recipe, it would call for a splash of vanilla extract. The Huntsman came to the rescue when the dang   :rant:  'safety seal' needed to be removed.
