Anyone else annoyed that it has speakers?

The last thing I want when I go hiking/camping is to listen to some idiot blaring stupid music and scaring off the wildlife.

You could always play whale song or nature sounds through them so you could listen to nature in surround sound!

If it came with a cape I'd buy it
Oh and we all like to have stuff for those just in case moments but an AC outlet wow  yes yes the times I've wished I'd brought my hair dryer hiking with me  :dunno:

With the sheer number of selfies that the target audience takes, it is important to look your best!

Whale songs? You mean the mating call of the Big Foot!

Maybe this is the device all the Cryptozoologists have needed to find the truth!

This one isn't a Kickstarter, but for sale on eBay, and the seller says almost nothing about it.

I suppose you have to know what it is if you want to buy it, and if you don't know, well, tough noogies for you.

The only thing I can think of is that it's an anti-static "nerd bracelet" and the tether attaches with a snap, but that's all I've got.  I tried looking at the TechniTool website and they don't seem to have anything similar listed, so whatever it is, it may be discontinued?

Lucky guess!  :D

I have never seen one with a detachable snap, but I suppose it makes sense.

Still, I am not sure why they would list it as a multitool attachment, unless there is a multitool with a snap on it that I don't know of!  It seems like an awkward place for your EDC...

I have a similar anti-static bracelet somewhere in all my tech tool crap. It's gotten about as much use as you'd expect.

At least they aren't asking $150 for a "customized" tool.   ::)

How about a Leatherman Kick with Batman design duct tape wrapped around handles and sheath :D...People will sell anything just to make a buck
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Leatherman-Kick-Multitool-All-Around-Great-Tool-with-Batman-Design-Tape-Wrap/253941727403?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D46ead529fbb84a7383dd33ce5f6f7a28%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D163325577483%26itm%3D253941727403&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ada986ab5-d489-11e8-88f6-74dbd18069a0%7Cparentrq%3A926d22491660ad789c171979fff78c17%7Ciid%3A1
What the :o

Didn't really get that either. If I had been the seller, I would have cleaned all that stuff off.   I wrapped glow-in-the-dark duct tape on my flashlights years ago, and most of it's wore out to the point it doesn't glow any more--time to buy some more and redo it. Now that had a practical purpose--it made them easier to find in a pack, on a nightstand, etc.
