This one looks nasty. All members in that area evacuated or prepared? Be careful. Prayers go out to you.

Hurricane Michael should hit the Pensacola area today or early tomorrow as a category 3 or 4 storm.  Very nasty looking storm.  Please take care if you're in the storm path, and check in when you can.

It's become a Class 4 storm and is expected to make landfall as such.  Having been through a Class 3 Hurricane myself, I an honestly suggest that if you are in the path of the storm, now is a great time to get as far away from it as you can.  It's all well and good to say you are prepared, but no one is prepared to have the roof torn off their house, be crushed by a telephone poll or have someone else's garage suddenly plow through your basement.  Get away while you still can.

We are ready...

In Canada?

But of course...Michael’s predicted path is to reach here, in Nova Scotia, on the weekend or early next week. Just as Juan several years ago. Having said that, there are “several” predicted paths...

But after being hit by Juan in 2003, we will never take those warnings lightly again. And ready nonetheless.

Juan was bad, but White Juan was worse!

Whew.... try saying that ten times fast!

Grant you are correct about both being bad. I personally suffered more from Juan...lots of damage in Prospect Bay.
