Looking for someone to do a mod for me for $?

I'm concerned about getting a swisschamp and trying to mod it on my own. If it was a cheaper model I would experiment on it, but for this I would prefer someone with experience to do it right. I have a feeling if I attempt it I would damage the rivet rings or warp the plates.

Also, does a modded knife have the same snap to the opening and closing action as an unmodded vixtorinox?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as it's done well. My one custom has a good snap to it.

Basically I'm just looking to mod a swisschamp by taking out the saw, descaler, and file. Not sure how many tools the back side can retain if that happens. That's it.

You'll lose the fine screwdriver and the chisel. No great shakes.

It's really not a difficult mod as far as it goes. Peening is the hardest part and the cellidor scales cover all manner of sins.

I'm fine with the chisel and the fine screwdriver, although I've heard the fine screwdriver fits those small Philip's heads that he inline can't. Is that true? If so, is it feasible to replace the hook with the fine screwdriver?
