My second Wenger

What with all my excitement about my new Vic Rescue tool I forgot to mention I have a Wenger NewRanger 51 . Not a bad knife with a nice big blade . The handle doesn't feet as robust as Vics 111mm range but I love the lock release button which was a total surprise to me  :D Lock up is solid but the thumb hole isn't as easy or as comfortable as Vics new pattern on the Trekker blade .

  I had forgotten about Wenger Elf!

Back on topic for a second, I know what you mean about the Wenger hole; it just isn't that comfy.  Despite what Andy Tiedye says ;) and the fact I am left handed it's still trickier to open left handed than right.  However all that said I still really like them.  Mine's a 78 BTW.

Funny you mentioned this Sak. I am actually in the middle of a review and torture test of the 51. i got mine from Def at the Sebago meet, and really like it. It is funny about reviewing this tool I am not really a Sak guy. I own only 3 including this one 4 so It will certainly be a review from a non Sak guy.

Plus you will see a Mod I did to it.

Anyone notice the photoshopped Leatherman on Wenger Elf's belt?
