I have a pretty good collection of Leatherman tools and knives  for sale. Approximately 275 tools and knives plus some bonus stuff.

I'm sick and don't really want to be buried with them. This is a very special collection,  prototypes and one offs, rare models and of course standard tools. All are authentic Leatherman's. I am only selling as one lot, Don't ask for individual tools I will ignore those questions.

These are not homemade or cobbled together, they are true proof of concept, LTG prototype tools and knives or production run (first, second or current) . Some are, test tools or trade show models, and a few will surprise even the most avid collector

This collection has a mix for the PST up to the 25th Anniversary,  estimated value is around $10,000 I am letting it go for $5,500 I'm firm on the price.

Any shipping or customs charges are up to the buyer to arrange. I have a few other things that I will throw in.

I have more photos that I will put up later.

Welcome to MTO, RW.      How did you acquire these, where are you located, etc.?  A potential buyer with deep pockets will probably want to know a little more about your curriculum vitae.  That's an impressive starter collection (I joke).

This will probably get moved to the Multitools for Sale forum.  Good luck with your health and your sale.

A vehicle ran over mine and broke off the middle tine.

Welcome to :MTO: :salute: sorry to hear your health isn't good :-\ it is a very nice looking collection and I am sure many would love to have the collection as a whole but not sure how many would be willing to turn loose of that much cash  we will let this sit in the Leatherman section a bit and then move it to the Multitools for Sale sub forum :salute: Good luck :tu: :like:

Sorry to hear about your health. However, that is a truly impressive collection.    Am I crazy to consider living on peanut butter sandwiches in the next 4 months in exchange for this collection?

And yes, if you provide your general location, and are willing to arrange for pick up and cash payment, you will more likely find a potential buyer.  :tu: BTW, you are not living in the east coast, are you?  ::)

Thanks for the patience with me. I miss read the heading.

Sure thing on location

Vancouver, WA
Close connection to LTG.
The details on the collection is going to have to go to the buyer only. This collection has more to it than just the tools.

I keep looking around and I find little things to keep adding to the haul. If I have it I'm throwing it in.

You're not going to give a list? Some of this stuff, I'm not sure I even understand what is truly is....

Close connection to LTG.

I can see that with all the spare parts and rarity. Have you posted your collection on craiglist's? I can't imagine there is no colector/ reseller... within 100 miles of where you live. Too bad I am in PA. Those Klamath knives are

What it would take to list is more than I have energy for. I fight to stay alive every day so not that I don't want to but priorities.

The link has pictures of all the tools except for a few I'm throwing. To give more would take away from the potential buyers showing off what they have.

I have to be honest, craigslist is really starting to be a hassle. I have spent more money meeting people only to have them not show up. I would rather it go to someone who appreciates them.

But no I did not put it on craigslist.

I can't argue with this. I'm gonna go check my lottery tickets to see if I have an extra 5Gs to spend.....

Here are a couple that where the lead up tools that lead to the Limited Edition Damascus Wave.

If I find a few others that I think will not give to much away I'll post them.

Sorry to hear about your disease :-(

You seem to be a knowledge well, with access to stuff that the average MTO member can't even imagine. It's sad this knowledge will not be started to be shared.

Have you contacted Leatherman headquarters? It may be a long shot, but such collections should not "disappear", in my opinion, maybe something will emerge, who knows?...

I promise this knowledge will be passed on. I have left my wife and kids with there own personal collection that almost rival this portion , but those have different meanings to them than this part of it. My collection is over 1500 complete tools and knives 90% Leatherman.

I can tell you that this collection was not just purchased this is my collection . There are personal connections to the lot and LTG. I would be willing to tell a portion of the stories to some one (admin/mod) to authenticate my claim if this would help out.

Sorry about the health conditions!

Wish I had the funds to purchase and either resale or catalog for a rarity thread.

I'm about 2 hours south of you in Oregon, shoot me a PM if you need anything, I'm in and out of Portland at least twice a month.
