My grab & go pouch
on: October 31, 2018, 08:56:45 PM
This is a belt pouch/molle bag that I picked up off of Amazon. Don't remember the brand but it serves well. It carries what I need with enough room for some jerky & a space blanket left over.
The carabiner serves as a handle or a belt loop fastener, inside are extra flashlight batteries a few wide rubber bands, they are fantastically useful. an extra knife, Vic executive, a Vic Swisstool, magnesium rod, magnifying glass, and 12 extra rounds of 9mm ammo. That is a Limintop tool aa 2.0 showing.

Almost forgot about 15 feet of paracord.

Congrats on the badge, Butch!

BUT BUT BUT. We're gonna need to see inside of the grab & go to verify there are no CAKs in there. :pok: :D

I like the pouch, but it could be full of the fleamarket knives and eBay CAKs for all we know. I believe his claims of known contents, but some of the many fleamarket knives and eBay CAKs may have "fell" into the pouch at some point or another without him knowing. We have to be diligent about this.  :dunno:  :D

Butch is probably going to show up at my house to punch me. Sorry, Butch.

These days it's not the Punch you need to wory about it's that Bubba Stick he uses to block Mom's Cast Iron Skillet.  He's gotten prety good with that thing, of corse he kinda had to.  Mom's aim is prety deadly.

I use that exact same pouch.

20181014_182449 by Grandpa Patch, on Flickr

I spooled some DUCK TAPE off a regular sized roll onto a short piece of PVC.

20181014_180456 by Grandpa Patch, on Flickr

I am currently going through a "content crisis" as I have made a few changes almost once a week over the last month or so. Currently, I have a few things in it.

EDC_Pouch01 by Grandpa Patch, on Flickr

The 'bundle' of rubber bands wraps up a cloth measuring tape. The 'Good Luck" coin pouch holds some bobby pins. The lens wipe in the photo is just that, in reality I carry about 10 each of these. Currently a WeatherMax (Lowe's) waterproof paper 3x5 tablet also rests up front behind the red one in the photo. All of the items fit into the back pouch so that I can easily get my smokes and pencils into the front half.

Dang, I haven’t seen one of those squeeze coin holder in years!
Another little trick is that pvc, if you use a bic pen, you make the size smaller, thus more tape if wrapped to the same outside diameter.

I went with the PVC for more strength while dispensing and pulling the tape compared to a fragile plastic pen.

Very cool, Patch! Looks like a lot of bases covered. Obly thing I would add is a 91mm SAK with scissors. Or a Leatherman Micra. :)

That is pretty neat that you and Butch have the same goto pouch.  :like:
