I have another question  I put a hex bit in the Crunch but it isn't in there tight at all :ahhh is there suppose to be a clip inside the handle to hold the bits in  ??? cause mine just keep falling out :(

I just had a quick look at mine poncho, and although it's difficult to get a good view because of the casing, it looks as though there's a spring arrangement in there.

Certainly, the bits don't fal out of mine.

Thanks for looking Dave :tu: but I don't think mine has the spring arrangement :ahhh :( Looks like this Crunch may have to make a trip to Portland

It's quite difficult to describe really, but I think 'spring' is a good word for it. If you look inside the hexagonal hole, on the side of the tool that has the external knurled screw, you should see two parallel "bent" strips of metal that grip the bit.

Maybe yours have just been bent too far or something?

Anyway, if it ain't working - send it to Portland! Best of luck poncho!

Boys stop with the  :pok: :pok:. I saw one recently at a local locksmith for $225aus  :o :o. It was a lot more compact than I thought it would be ,NICE. But I am looking at Kershaw A100's first , the price of these beauties is really going up :o. I think I will ask for a Crunch for my birthday in March ( long wait though  :( :D)

::) Yeah I have been wanting a Crunch for a lot longer than most of the stuff on my list but the price always threw me off :( I got some Christmas money and thought I'd go for it :D Of course the person I got it from may have known that it lacked the spring clip thingy :( So it will probably end up in Portland

Unless they agree to just send me a new clip that I can put in myself ::) At least that's what I asked for in the email :D Guess will see how it goes :tu: wish me luck :tu:

Well I never sent the Crunch in but I was thinking about it the other day @ work and I had an idea (yeah I know doesn't happen often ::) ) but I thought if I could put a tiny rare earth element magnet in there it would hold the bits for me wouldn't it  So I just had to take a Kick clip and remove the casing and slipped a small piece of those great magnets in there and low and behold they hold in there rather well now :tu: So as long as this works I am gonna keep it with me here in Tennessee :D If I do have a problem later I will definitely send it in though ::) Sorry no pics yet the Christmas rush is slowing down now maybe I'll have a little more time :tu:

It actually is a very cool tool. I use mine a ton at work. I also like how small it is.

Used Mine today to hold a mud flap on a truck so I could bolt it in.

It is a small tool but still works like a third hand.

The size is very shocking at first I like how compact it is :tu: I have always liked vise-grips anyway so making it a MT was even better :D

and Neil you will be very well pleased with it I am sure
