The Sebertool looks especially good.

All hail the hook!

Some nice mini MTs there.   :tu:

You just need the Sebertool M3 to complete the Sebertool trifecta :

 :D   :pok:

And if you are looking for other small plier-based MTs around the same size:

Mini Bear Jaws

Sog Crossgrip

Stanley Auto-plier

Coast Micro-Pliers

Great stuff CeHo.

Is there a version of the Sebertool M2 still on the market?

IDL T5?

Cheers Don.  Sadly I can't find one of them in stock anywhere either though. :-\

Closest thing I've found is the SwissTech Mico-Tech 6-in-1 and the pliers on those appeal less.

Wow, those USA SwissTechs make the ones made in China today look like junk! I've really got to get myself a Mariner.  It's got a bit closer to the design of the modern SwissTech but better executed. I find the gripper portion of the teeth on the Chinese version rounded and useless. They seem quite sharp on the Mariner; which might I add, I didn't know existed. At one point, the USA-made SwissTechs were quite easy to find--not any more.

And I love those boxed Sebertools. Is the M4 black oxide coated?   As the owner of an M2 and M3 (both purchased from a member here for a very good price); they are much better than the SwissTechs in execution. Especially given how the pliers "snap" open as opposed to simply pivoting open like the Swiss-Tech.  And the pliers head is a much better design. I find it actually usable. I often carry the M3 when I don't think I need a regular full-size MT, but am still carrying an SAK.

I can't recall ever seeing a SeberTool branded M4 in BO, but United Cutlery marketed a re-branded M4 that was BO.  Look for a Harley-Davidson HD15, and it comes with a cute leather sheath as well.

UC also did M2s (HD8) and M3s (HD13). The HD8 and HD13 came in a presentation box, but no sheath.

None of these are common, but they do pop up every now and then on ebay.

Hey,

it’s not coated... I never saw a coated one...

Best regards

Your fantastic collection has been a huge influence on the smaller tools I have looked for recently. The little tools are quite awesome, and some are much more functional than I had anticipated.  :)

OK, it's not a Sebertech, but I now own this entirely because of this thread.  :D
