Thanks for trying. Oh well. It was worth trying. It is obvious they are transposing their corporate system overseas and aren't really concerned with their customers right now. Looking at their Chinese produced tools, I can't see them staying in business too much longer, even with their cost cutting. Might want to pick up a few U.S. MMs while you can, CeHo.
Thank you, CeHo. Glad I could help you spend your money. I think a U.S. made MultiMaster is a must-have for any multitool collector and/or enthusiast. I don't have a problem with them making the newer designs in China, but they are not doing a good job with it. The original MM is all about getting the job done. The newer tools(RealTree and Wrenchheads for example) are just a bit junky and gimmicky. The tool locking on the new models is garbage, the cutters don't work, and they are too heavy compared to the MultiMasters.Now is a good time to get a NIB MM, because their prices are going to go crazy when Kutmaster stops selling the U.S. made MMs.
