The start of "Looney Tune" season has arrived.
on: November 22, 2018, 09:23:50 PM
With today being the day that all the Black Friday Sales start (locally they start at 6pm this evening), it is officially the start of the "Looney Tune" season. I hope that everyone is fat and sassy, and drowsy, from the turkey and stuffing! I also would like to wish everyone a "Happy Holiday Season" regardless of which holidays you celebrate and enjoy.

I hope to see the "What are you carrying today?" topics decrease and the funny jokes about some stupid thing increase as we are not leaving our houses unless it is necessary. Unless I am carrying out the trash, carrying my coffee cup or maybe just carrying my butt down the hallway for a nap I will not be going out or worrying about carrying anything until after Jan 15, 2019. The only times that I have to leave the house will be for a Doc Appt and to visit my grandkids on Christmas Day. Not tools or firearms allowed at the Doctors Office (no humor) and not needed inside the house while visiting the grandkids.

Is it better to carry a 'paddle' or to be "up a creek" without one?

Black Friday?  :iagree:
I wouldn't be out amongst those insane crowds if you paid me.  :twak:
I do, however, have a vet appointment for my cats in the morning. Thankfully, the vet's office is nowhere near any mall or big box stores.

Yay. I work on black Friday. But, being an antiques store and flea market, it won't affect us too much. But, with that not being an issue, we are having a huge blow out sale, huge food service, and $200 gift certs all day on Saturday. It is gonna be literal Madhouse. I'm the lucky SOB that gets to carry furniture all day and clean everything up at the end of the day.

That's a sale I would go to. I love old, antiquey stuff but it's been years since I had the time or money to go explore any places like that.

They're fun for sure. The one I work at is about 25,000sq. Ft. It can take hours and hours to properly look around. :ahhh
