I've bought three of them so far.  :D

Me too :D I really can't say enough good about the bullet Space Pen :tu: Most compact and convenient pen out there to me :like:

I've got a little 2-1/2 inch telescoping pen that carries nicely down the side of the pouch. Quite usable once extended. Designed to suspend around the neck...cap is magnetic.

Hmmm, then you have a loose cap. I would lose that.
While waiting for the Bullet pen I still carry my Zebra pen.

Had a friend of mine print me a precision driver bit adapter. So when this comes

I only need to carry this and a few tiny bits I need with me.

Does that make sense? This way I can carry only one screwdriver instead of two.

Great idea,  :like:
Those smaller bits are great for precision stuff. Will you just twiddle the holder with the bit, or will you put the new holder into a bit extender and use on a MT? Maybe an idea is to have one adapter for these smaller bits fabricated that slips over the Phillips?

That's where that Stanley pen comes in. Those are normal sized bits if I'm correct.

I think they are the mini bit size? You’ll need to check.

A here is another new addition to my EDC. Finally bought myself a Fisher Bullet Space Pen.

Too bad it has black ink. We have to write with blue on the job. So let's see if I can find a blue filling.

But, I really like it, nice and small. Also ordered a clip, but that hasn't come in yet.

Yes that does look normal. Here’s a comparison of the small 4mm and normal 0.25 inch bits next to the adapter.  :salute:

Yep, don't even know why pens come with black ink. At work we have to sign with blue ink so you can see it's an original and not a copy.
Let's see if I can buy it in a normal store here in the neighborhood.

Actually, it was a mechanical pencil. Wood shavings in zero G would not be a good thing...

Quote from: Scientific American
The problem of weightless writing was not solved by either Soviet central planning or good old American sub-contracting, but by a private investor and a good idea

Quote from: Scientific American
In fact, NASA ordered 34 mechanical pencils from Houston's Tycam Engineering Manufacturing, Inc., in 1965. They paid $4,382.50 [$35,000 in 2018 money?] or $128.89 [$1000 in 2018 money?] per pencil.

Quote from: Scientific American
Paul C. Fisher and his company, the Fisher Pen Company, reportedly invested $1 million [AKA a metric smurfload in 2018 money?] to create what is now commonly known as the space pen. None of this investment money came from NASA's coffers

Quote from: Scientific American
The AP later noted that both NASA and the Soviet space agency received the same 40 percent discount for buying their pens in bulk. They both paid $2.39 [or about $20 in 2018 money] per pen instead of $3.98.

Cool guy, Fisher!  :hatsoff:
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!
